READING ADVENTURES


      Whatever happened to Grimm’s and Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tales, Aesop’s fables, Nursery Rhymes and other stories?  For the love of these tales and stories which not so long ago in my childhood, I have clung to them from sunrise to sundown, turning page after page, scurrying down alleys for adventure with Alice in Wonderland and then, being sprinkled with pixie dust off to Never, Never land….Until….Oh, now “I can’t go back to yesterday because I was a different person then” (Alice in Wonderland) for I was swept away by a tornado and found myself with a girl beside me and an odd-looking tin man in the Land of Oz.
